Very Cool......truly

Hey....
My southern fried daughter, Rebecca, has taught her old daddy dog a new trick! The Sitemeter icon on the top of my blog is connected to an amazing web page that keeps track of all the folks who visit my site. It even tells me how long they stay. For instance, I know my lovely mouthpiece daughter in New Mexico spent an incredible 17 seconds slowly perusing my blog of yesterday.
Well....she always did have a kinda short attention span..lol..
Naw....she's just very, very fast. You should see her type!!
Becky has been getting visitors from around the world...must be homeschooling is wide spread indeed!
HEY....
I've added some new games to the page....It's a shameless attempt to keep you guys who like to keep busy while, for instance, on the phone with relatives, or while planning your presidential campaign, to spend quality time on my blog page. Please let me know if you like them, or not. They are kid friendly! Both the balloon one, and the parachute game will keep a kid (like me) occupied for hours, while you do important stuff..(like write a post..)! I knew Jess would like Dancing Hillary...But, I had to drop her off the page...She was making too much noise!! (Art Imitates Life...)
Deb is at her ma's place today, so I'm on my own. We'll see the Mckinnis bunch tomorrow night for chili and trick or treating.

HEY...

My other daughter Jessica taught us a cool thingmo about Netflix, a service that she doesn't even subscribe to.
We don't watch much commercial tv because of the phenomenon we call "Commercial Slaughter."
When we were kids, back in the last millennium, We endured commercials at the rate of one per 15 minutes of show, with 3 or 4 at the hourly breaks. These days, you're lucky to get 42 minutes of actual show for every hour....you do the math...
So...
Jess tells us about the tv shows on dvd. Very cool. Now we watch, commercial free, some pretty decent shows. House MD is our fave so far, with The Closer and The Office next.
I like Alias too.
Weeds sucked. That show has the moral
values of a drugged up dog in heat.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on what might be cool to watch? Please, no soap opera stuff..(Shows with Mc-anything..McFarty??).

ANYHOW....

Time to get on with this scintillating journey I used to call "Life". (I now call it "Marshmallow Fluff")

Down dear...there may be kids in the room...but, I can appreciate your honesty. Later, if you're a very good girl..

I think mom should create a new identity and keep her password very, very secret.

And you wonder why I spend 17 seconds on your blog. Ick. By the way, the games are all like half cut off to me - like I can only see half the screen. How do I fix that?

Coach Pete said...

mmmmm..whyever do you say that, sweetie?

Coach Pete said...

Oh...you must be using internet explorer, Steph. Try downloading and installing Mozilla firefox...it's a much better web explorer than IE.
And, so far, I've earned a Blech, a Gak, and an Ick from you from your last 3 comments or so. Where's the new improved Sweet Steph that you're showing your sisters? It's not my fault you're head is in the basket!!

Jess said...

Um, I look at it with Mozilla, and mine are half cut off too.

Coach Pete said...

Really Jess? Can you see enough to play the games? I may have to make them smaller. BTW Steph, I put a link to Firefox on my blog...just for you, sweetie....Gak!!

Coach Pete said...

Hey Jess, is this game size better for you?
And, Beaner, this is my hobby, sad as that is...

Coach Pete said...

BTW, does anyone like the new look of the page? Steph, you can abstain here, thanks...

Jess said...

Much better! I can now see the entire Hillary and balloon game. Oh, and Beck, I believe this is his hobby!

Jess said...

Oops. I guess he just said that...

Coach Pete said...

Dad, I love the new look of your blog. It is, in fact, very hip and attractive. I am downloading that Mozilla thingy and will let you know if it makes a diffence. By the by, I could be wrong, but I seem to recall perusing Beck's website a little while ago and noticing in passing a comment made by someone to one of my posts which sounded something like: gak.

I can't get the stupid Mozilla thing to download. My computer keeps telling me it's a corrupt file. I am getting creamed in pacman whenever I go into the black.

Coach Pete said...

That's weird about mozilla...I'll check it out, dear.

Coach Pete said...

Well, I just clicked on the get mozilla icon on the page, and downloaded and installed the newest version of firefox. Maybe your work firewall is a tight one, steph. try saving the file to your desktop and then opening it, baby girl.

Oh that was Jess' website. Beck's been "too busy" to write. Just kidding, Beck. :)

I will be writing soon. I have been asked by my huband not to reveal certain things to our friends yet...so, as exciting as my life is, nothing for a day or two. But to you guys, we will be moving this spring it seems. Mooresville bound! More later. BTW, we DO have a new van! Pictures to follow as well (although all of you but Steph have seen it) Love you all!

Coach Pete said...

Awesome, Beckster!
We'll be listening...
