Man, we sure can't complain about the weather this year, eh?
It's October 18th, and the sun is shining, it's supposed to hit 70.
Gotta love it!
Hey..what's it like where you are? My kids are spread out, from Fayetteville to Las Cruces. Some weatherly disparity there, I think!
Not much to complain about today. Deb's heading out to her mom's to do the weekly shopping..Jess is going too. Nice to see those two getting together like that.
Next week, deb's heading to Charlotte to spend time with Becky's clan....
Hmmmmm.....what to do with a whole week to myself.....
Hmmmmmm....probably play gym rat the whole week. Maybe try to do some writing.
Y'know, it strikes me sometimes that Deb and I have plenty of one valuable commodity that so many others lack - time.
I occasionally feel a little guilty that we don't do more with our time....meals, exercise, walking the dogs, household chores, writing, reading, tv after dinner....somehow the days fly by.
Once a week I teach a class at the Y, Thursday nights I do Awana with the kids...Sunday church.
Doesn't sound like a whole lot...
Yet, there's a rhythm to our lives now that is a little hypnotizing, if not mesmerizing.
I'm very rarely bored. The weather can make that happen; I hate cabin fever!
But, as I started with, the weather has been great this year.

You could always come down with mom if you think you will be bored. The children have been asking about you! Bring the dogs too! Brian already said that would be fine with him. We would love to have you both!
