You want to know what's really funny? I think I'm over the traveling thing for a while. I spent so much time doing that in undergrad and law school I think I have seen enough. I feel like I have learned that it's all surface stuff in the end and any beautiful place loses its thrill within about three weeks. What's interesting is that life anywhere is either ugly or fantastic, and the single thing that colors it is whether Christ is there, walking closely with you, or not. When my relationship w/Him has been strong, anyplace has felt like the Caribbean or whatever is technically paradise on earth, and when it hasn't been strong, the most beautiful places on earth have looked like what hell must look like. I'm not just saying that; God is my witness to how strongly I think that is true. But here's my list regardless: I'd still like to someday see Japan, the Alps, China, the Caribbean and Paris. The places I'd like to revisit include: Wales, particularly far southern and far northern Wales, Aspen, CO, the Keys of FL, New Orleans, and Lake Champion, b/c that's where I first met Jesus.

Yeah! Go Lake Champion!

Good insight Steph! I wonder why you haven't visited my blog all week??? Love you all... and Saranac is still better!

Better perhaps if you're only interested in waterskiing. For those of us with more spiritual aspects on our minds...plus a WAAAAAYYYY better ropes course...and a WAAAAAAAY better hot tub...and WAAAAAAAAY better cabins....etc. etc. etc!!!!

Dude, Beck, I read your blog every single day!!!!!!! I just don't comment on anybody's blog much anymore b/c I am braindead and not very witty lately. But geez Louise you sure aren't desperate for people to comment. Every day I read some new girl's name on there - as in, some new friend of yours. YOu don't even need me!!!!!
