When given an opportunity to have a spirited discussion of our presidential candidates, I got either "no comment", or no comment.
What is the matter with you younger generation? Have you no c-c-courage???
We can discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the different candidates as we approach the final battlefield....
Like, did crazy Mccain really have a huge affair a few years ago, and lie about it, like...
Billary's man Will? And, did the Whitewater affair also add a certain "Je ne sais que" to the trustworthiness of the Dynamic Duo for prez??
Will the country actually swallow it's dynamic racism to elect a half black man...do we even know anything about what he stands for besides his claim of some amorphous "Change" that is to occur? Has any politician ever used that promise before?? Have they
ever delivered??
So, what choices do we, as middle class Americans have? Taking our basically right wing Christian tendencies, all these folks have lots more to dislike than like. They all, even crazy Mccain, lean towards liberalism. Although, really, Bush, who has claimed to be deeply Christian himself, has made little progress to stop abortion, or any other hot button Christian issues.
Maybe it won't really make too much difference who we choose. 5$ gas, crippling energy costs leading to huge raises in our general cost of living will be foremost on our minds in the foreseeable fuure.
Now, if we had a candidate that could and would do something to curb the appetites of the oil investors, the speculators who are pushing up our energy costs, directly raising the prices on everything else.....
