Coolio

Life is good.
The weather is sucky, but it is late October, and up 'til now it's been amazing.
Deb's home (sorry Beckster, no gloating here), and the dog's are happy again. (Me too).

On the downside, JK Rowling has announced that the headmaster of the school is gay.
Who needed to know that?

They have awarded Nobel Peace prizes to :
1. A clown that almost certainly didn't write a single word of his "presentation", An Inconvenient Truth.
2. An idiotic old woman who insists that 911, the destruction of the towers, was "no big deal".

I think it's time to pick new Nobel judges.

On our newspaper's front page they had a picture of some dork who used to live here, and moved to San Diego, dressed up in a firefighter's suit, and preparing to singlehandedly protect his California home from the conflagration that has already devoured 2000 homes.
He wasn't a trained firefighter, but has "read up" on how to do it....He'll probably make the news at least one more time...

On the plus side, again:

1.For the first time in ages, I look forward to going to church. Last week, another EHBC regular, Debbie Mingolelli, brought her husband and son to Crossroads, where they both had a "mountaintop" experience. Now they're excited about church also.
2.We're doing a dinner for the Cases Sunday after the service. Should be fun.
3.The Mckinnis' will be here Sunday, the first time in way too long.

And, did I mention? Deb's home.

Coolio.

YOU GET THE POINT!!

By the way, dad, every time Julia sees me look at your blog, she is thrilled to see grandpa. The first picture rather concerns her, but hte nice one of you in the chair always makes her happy!
